My name is Efa and I’m a film-maker, animator and Illustrator. I was born in Cardiff and am a Welsh speaker. At 16 I was the youngest person to be screened at the Iris Prize the international gay and lesbian film festival with my short live action film. I did my foundation art year at Trefforest, university of South Wales but in 2015 I decided to enter into the world of animation. I love the infinite possibilities that animation brings and the worlds that can be created to tap into inner emotional truths. My ambitions are to work on fiction and documentary animation projects based in Cardiff and in Bristol. I’d like to be involved in starting a new small animation company. My dream is to one day work for Cartoon Saloon in Ireland.
