My name is Eoin McLoughlin and I’m a 2D animator. Throughout my life I’ve always had a passion for animation, particularly the ones that are years old, yet still feel as fresh and creative as they were back then. I became a student in UWE in order to improve three main skills: Drawing, animation and storytelling. During my years I’ve worked on many projects including the BBC Listening project as well as a collaboration with the Royal academy of music in London. For my final year project I nade “The Balloonatic”, a short animated film to push my skills further. I wanted to make something that represents everything I love about animation such as fluid animation and fun stories with positive messages. After I graduate, I plan to share my film to film festivals as well as get started working in animation studios. With valuable skills as well as a hardworking and determined persona, I believe I would be a valuable asset to any animation studio.
